Giselle Castellanos brings over a decade of dedicated criminal defense experience to DeChant Law, where she serves as a vital bridge between prospective clients and the legal team. As the firm’s Intake Specialist, Giselle manages the intake process with a rare combination of precision, professionalism, and compassion to ensure every client is heard, understood, and supported from the very first moment of contact.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Giselle plays a key role in removing language barriers that can stand between clients and quality legal support. Her ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with a diverse community ensures that individuals from all backgrounds receive attentive, respectful service during an often stressful time.

Before joining DeChant Law, Giselle spent ten years as a Legal Secretary at the Denver Public Defender’s Office, where she was instrumental in managing the initial client application process and providing essential operational support to attorneys and peer navigators. Her extensive experience in criminal defense intake work gives her a deep understanding of how to gather critical case information efficiently while making clients feel comfortable and confident in the process.

Giselle holds a Paralegal Certificate from the Community College of Denver and is deeply committed to guiding clients through one of the most difficult experiences of their lives with clarity and care.
